Once we are done admiring the life of former Royal families of Udaipur we proceed towards Bagore ki Haveli which is right at the waterfront of Lake Pichola. With
over 100 rooms and display of costumes and modern art Bagore ki Haveli is known for preserving the painting of Mewar and fine glasswork. In the evening we leave for the place famous for its picturesque surroundings and its boat ride, Lake Pichola.
A boat ride in the evening is sufficient to enthral anybody. After a café stroll near the lake we head towards our hotels where our comfortable beds are waiting for us to rest for the night.
After covering these places we halt for lunch near the Fateh sagar Lake. Freshen up, relax grab a bite and visit our last location, the Saheliyon ki Bari presenting a green treat in dry lands of Rajasthan famous for its lush green lawns, marble art and fountains. Saheliyon Bari or the Garden of Maids was built by the Maharna Sangram Singh for the Royal Ladies. Covering so much ground could be tiring for most of us, so we depart for the hotel and call it a day.

Overnight journey will take you to Udaipur- the city of lakes. Abundant in culture and history, this place is as beautiful as it is interesting. The first place you see here is the much talked about City Palace. It is quite a picturesque representation of the royal heritage. It offers wonderful insights into social and cultural lives of that era.
The royal accessories, kitchen, weapons, paintings, their morals and traditions will take you to an absolutely different time which will make you vision the kind of life that there was. A massive façade, great lineage, rich history and a still residing royal family are only a few things that would tell you of its splendor. But we urge you to dig deep and find out more. Famous movies like Octupussy and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani have been shot here.
After the history buff in you has been satisfied to some end, you visit the handsome lake Pichola. A striking part of this extraordinary lake is the presence of many floating structures on it, like the Jag Mandir, Jag Niwas, Taj Lake Palace. A peaceful ride will make you reminisce all that you have seen so far. A beautiful day comes to and end with dinner at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the lake.
Following day, you get prepared for some fabulous places post breakfast. This day is reserved for Monsoon Palace, adorned beautifully with motifs of leaves and flowers atop a hill. It was constructed as an astronomical observatory to record the arrival of monsoons. This palace (also called Sajjangarh Palace) has been very recently opened up to tourists and is located on the outskirts of Udaipur, though quite near from the main city.
Next you see a deserving tribute to a famous king Maharana Pratap at the Maharana Pratap Memorial – a perfect blend of art and architecture. Overlooking the mesmerizing Fateh Sagar Lake, you will have a wonderful evening here. Click away the handsome statue of the heroic fighter and his loyal horse Chetak.
You may even take a boat ride in the lake. The last place to visit is the serene Sehalion Ki Badi, a beautiful garden with fountains, kiosks and marble elephants. It was built as a token of love by Maharana Sangram Singh for his queen. Take a stroll here and reflect on your lively day. Relax, unwind- because it’s time leave for your hometowns.
